Alice Njambi’s accepted conference paper was developed into a full article for the official Inaugural EAC OSH Conference magazine. It calls for psychosocial risks to be treated as a core occupational safety and health issue across East African workplaces.

What happens when OSH professionals are invited to name the workplace realities people rarely discuss?
This report examines anonymous signals gathered during OSH Quiz Night and identifies five connected psychosocial risk domains across leadership, work design, fairness, communication and job security. It shows why burnout and mental health strain should not be treated only as individual wellbeing concerns—but as possible outcomes of how work is designed, led and managed.
A rapid qualitative pulse—not a prevalence study.
